The Hunt For Blue Poly Tarps: The Right Size, At The Right Price
Finding blue poly tarps online
is a fairly easy task. But searching for a specific size among hundreds of pages
on a merchant site can be tedious. Who has the right tarp, in the right size,
at the best price ? And although blue and green poly tarps are the most common
and least expensive, they are not all made the same. There
are some very good tarp suppliers, but for most of them, inexpensive blue poly
tarps are not a specialty. So they are usually relegated to the deeper pages of
the 'online catalog'. Now you, the shopper, have to spend another several minutes
searching for the right type and size. Blue

Tool (Nor Tool)
These
are high quality blue poly tarps, using a 9x9 weave of nylon chords, laminated
on both sides with polyethylene. They have the best prices for small sizes. In
addition to blue, you'll also find polyethylene in camouflage and silver. Search
for "poly tarps" on their site, and you'll find the size you need.
Gempler's
(Gempler)
These
heavy-duty green tarps are more expensive, but are also much heavier and stronger
than the others. They are a hefty 10 mil in thickness, with 1000 denier thread,
vs the usual 5-6 mil and 700-800 denier. If
you're looking for the strongest polyethylene tarp, and are willing to pay a bit
more, do a search on their site for "tarps". They also have a great
selection of extra-durable silver tarps.

Each
size has a choice of fabric. The standard 5-6 mil blue poly uses a standard 8x8
weave and 800 denier thread. The heavy-duty
9-10 mil green tarps are extra tough, with
a 10x10 weave and 1000 denier thread. Hems are heat sealed and reinforced with
rope. TA
